Discovering the Castle of Verginese and the Church of St. Vitus

Caterina, in 2002, a small pedestrian necropolis of the Imperial Roman period (40-80 AD) was found, which returned 5 stelae of the "FADIENA" Family with their burials, of remarkable wealth and beauty. This family of wealthy landowners, benefited from the proximity of the river, to trade their products with the rest of the Empire. Where the river once flowed, today are the two lakes in the vicinity of which the farmhouse is located.
